AIS recently celebrated its 40th anniversary at the Udvar-Hazy Museum in Dulles, VA. The event was a huge success, with over 300 guests in attendance, including top executives, and industry experts.
The Udvar-Hazy Museum, which is part of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, was the perfect location for the event. The museum is home to a vast collection of historic aircraft and space artifacts, including the space shuttle Discovery, the Enola Gay, and the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Guests were able to take tours of the museum and see firsthand the incredible advancements that have been made in aerospace technology over the years.
The event was coordinated and catered by Susan Gage Caterers, one of the top catering companies in the DC area. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes and desserts to choose from. The catering staff was professional and attentive, ensuring that all guests felt welcome and enjoyed the celebration.
Atmosphere, a lighting designer, did the uplighting for the event, which added a warm and inviting ambiance to the space. The uplighting also highlighted the aircraft and artifacts on display. Some of the lighting had moving elements that made the environment feel even more captivating.
Live music and dancing kept the party going throughout the night. Guests enjoyed dancing to a variety of genres, including classic rock, R&B, and pop hits. The dance floor was packed, and guests of all ages had a great time.
The event was a great opportunity for colleagues to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of the past 40 years. It was also a chance to network and build new relationships with other professionals in the industry.
