When it comes to my own family, sometimes it takes me a time or two until I see the big picture! Since birth, my son has always been a great subject. Posing and smiling for me… spoiling me countless times when I wanted to take his picture. Then came along his little sister. She is sassy and full of spunk and not so cooperative when it comes to portraits. I have lived through 2 Easters of begging and unashamedly bribing to try to get that “perfect” Easter portrait. Finally it dawned on me… take their pictures before Easter morning! Before they have handfuls of chocolate and jellybeans and all the excitement of eggs and surprises. Finally, mommy got it and I could not be happier. We had a fun morning taking some beautiful Easter portraits and of course some silly ones too!
