Want to get married on an island but never leave Virginia? Have I got the place for you! Old House Vineyards is a gorgeous venue, newly remodeled and teaming with fantastic places for photographs. And yes, they have your own personal island in the middle of a lake where you can tie the knot with your hubby and guests.
When Jennifer contacted me about her wedding, I knew we were a match made in heaven. Anytime a client tells me they love my work and want to hang it on their walls as artwork, (I feel humbled and honored!) and know we are a perfect fit. Coming from a fine art background, this is truly my goal at every wedding. I want you to have gorgeous photos of your wedding day that tell your story from a unique and artistic perspective.
Once the big day was finally here, I was excited and ready to see all the hard work Jennifer and Jonathan had put into making their day so special. Everywhere I turned there were personalized details. Not to mention her gorgeous dress, the beautiful flowers, and a fantastic venue. I felt so inspired all day long!
Here is a small sampling of my many favorite photos from Jennifer and Jonathan’s wedding. I hope you enjoy them!
This photograph of the bride waiting in the vines before she walks the isle makes me smile every time I see it. I think it is the anticipation building… you know she is there but all you can see is the bottom of her dress peeking out from the vines.
What a beautiful entrance.
Locks of Love… It is a tradition at Old House to have each married couple add a lock to commemorate their marriage. They then throw the key into the lake so the lock will never be opened. What a fun tradition.
I love how Jonathan is gazing at his new bride in this photo.
Another favorite of mine!
This old barn is such an unexpected find. I love it!
Details, Details Details…
Jennifer made most of her wedding details. From the candle holders on her sweetheart table to the wine bottle table numbers on her guest’s tables. I was so impressed with how she carried her vineyard theme throughout all of her wedding touches.
The sunsets at Old House are breathtaking!
