Weather is something that every couple thinks about. As hard as you may wish, hope and pray, when it comes to your day… what you get is what you get. Anne and Aaron had high hopes of a light dusting of snow for their winter wedding at Columbia Country Club. However, given our crazy winter this year they ended up with a gorgeous 70 degree day in February!
We enjoyed taking pictures outside and it was nice that Anne and Aaron could relax and be themselves without having to worry about the cold or Anne’s gown getting damp in the snow. Anne loves magnolia trees and had a gorgeous garland made for their ceremony. Magnolia leaves were added to their bouquets, a table runner for the king table and wreaths that adorned their chairs.
It is always a special moment when I have the honor of photographing such a sweet couple. Anne and Aaron are truly perfect together. I also enjoyed seeing many familiar faces from Anne’s cousin Ali’s wedding that I photographed last spring. It is such a great feeling being surrounded by loving family and friends which Anne and Aaron have a lot of!
A special touch to the evening were a late night snack of soft pretzels fresh from PA! The evening ended with lots of POPs as guests celebrated with Poppers as the happy couple made their get away.
