Beth Anne and Mike tied the knot at the gorgeous St Matthew’s Cathedral in DC. As you walk through the doors of the cathedral, breathtaking fresco’s and architecture command your attention. For couples desiring an awe inspiring, jaw dropping location for their wedding, St Matthew’s is just the place.
After the ceremony we traveled to the Spanish Steps for some fun photos with the bridal party. The streets were packed with people and cars because it was Embassy Day. I was so impressed when the limo driver was able to pass through a tight alley way that had a giant Monster Truck on one side and cars and people lining the other side of the street. The bridal party did a fantastic job working the crowds so we could take a few photos of the bride and groom without tourists everywhere.
The reception was as the Westin Grand in DC. The decor was elegant and the moments, heartfelt. Mike’s brother surprised everyone when he joined the band to play guitar for Beth Anne and Mike’s first dance. Afterwards, Beth Anne’s brother gave a heartfelt toast that had everyone (including myself) in tears. Such sweet and loving families. It is exciting for me to see everyone come together to celebrate a couple and their new life together. Congratulations Beth Anne and Mike!
