On Saturday, I was at Blue Valley Winery in Haymarket, VA for a surprise proposal. Known for its breathtaking views and exquisite wines, this family-owned gem has a rich history dating back to its opening in 2016. Nestled in the heart of Virginia’s wine country, Blue Valley has become a beloved destination for wine enthusiasts and couples alike.
In the lush, rolling vines of the winery, a magical moment unfolded. Under the bright sun that afternoon, surrounded by the serenity of nature and the romantic ambiance of the vineyard, Griffin dropped to one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him. She said YES! 💖
But the surprises didn’t end there. Waiting for the bride-to-be was an incredible engagement party with friends and family in a private room at the winery. The celebration featured a playful balloon arch, delectable signature engagement cookies, and a beautiful “She Said Yes” cake. Guests enjoyed the amazing selection of wines Blue Valley is famous for, and there were smiles all around as everyone shared in Griffin and Taryn’s engagement news.
