It was a gorgeous fall day out at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, VA. I absolutely love photographing weddings here. The grounds are so pretty with the mountain views, lake, tall pine trees, beautiful club and balcony and long winding isle down to the beautiful ceremony site. Their wedding planner, Katie is also wonderful to work with! It is always a great start to our day when we have pretty places to take portraits and a super sweet couple to work with.
I was so excited to be chosen to capture Kimberly and Colin’s wedding. So much planning and DIY details. They had custom made newspapers for guests that told the story about how they met and gave all the details for their wedding weekend. Bouquets, boutonnieres and table arrangements were all handmade. Kimberly even made her own shoes!
