Some wedding days are so beautiful and filled with joy that you wish you could relive them again and again. Caroline and Stefen’s spring wedding at National Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC was one of those days.
From the moment I arrived, everything felt magical. The weather was perfect. Warm sunshine and a gentle breeze, beautiful grounds and the cross shaped fountain made a gentle cascade into it’s pool. This was the ideal day and setting for gorgeous wedding portraits and an unforgettable celebration.
Caroline looked absolutely stunning in her vintage wedding gown. Her veil effortlessly caught the wind, creating the most romantic and whimsical moments. Stefen looked equally incredible in a perfectly tailored suit accented with custom cufflinks.
One of my favorite parts of the day was their first look. By choosing to see each other before the ceremony, Caroline and Stefen were able to enjoy a private moment together and complete all of their portraits before exchanging vows. The church grounds provided so many options, with elegant architecture, beautiful landscaping, and a large fountain.
The ceremony itself was breathtaking. The stunning stained glass windows created a spectacular setting as Caroline and Stefen exchanged vows surrounded by their family and friends.
What I loved most about this wedding was the overwhelming joy woven throughout every moment. The laughter, love, and connection these two share made photographing their day an absolute honor. It is truly one of those weddings I wish I could put on repeat.
