So excited to capture this winter wedding at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna. Christie and Matt were married the day after Christmas on a mildly warm winter afternoon. Meadowlark is pretty year round, with the tall grasses, wooden bridges, and expansive ponds. We enjoyed walking the grounds and taking some beautiful portraits in the peacefulness of the afternoon. The ceremony was at the lake gazebo. Family gathered close for the intimate ceremony and vows. Afterwards, the walk of lights began to glow as the sun was setting. One of my favorite portraits I captured as we were almost to the Visitor’s Center. It’s not every day I get to take portraits of a couple surrounded by twinkle lights. What a beautiful day!
