It was love at first sight when I met Veto and Erin. I fell in love with their wedding with every new detail they shared. Their venue was Merriweather Manor and I could not wait to capture their beautiful portraits among the barns, tall grasses and rolling hills. We scouted locations for portraits one stormy weekend. Veto and Erin have an easy going personality and great sense of humor. We laughed and trekked all over the grounds, finding countless portrait locations for their big day. When their wedding day arrived, it was blistering hot but thankfully no rain in sight! After a memorable ceremony at St. Theresa Catholic Church, we headed over to Merriweather Manor to begin their portraits. Veto and Erin were amazing. We shot and shot and shot. We still laughed, joked and had a great time all the while creating gorgeous portraits and capturing tender moments. What an amazing day. As I think back, I am still so impressed by Erin’s ability to walk a gravel road and through tall grass in 5 inch heals! You guys are troopers!
Merriweather Manor has an amazing ability to be one venue during the day and totally transformed at night. After the beautiful views faded into the night sky the flicker of tiki torches, the twinkling of lights and gorgeous uplighting on the Manor created a romantic backdrop for Erin and Veto’s reception. I especially love the night shot I created for Erin and Veto under the night sky and chandeliers. Such an romantic moment for them to remember. Now for the photos… I hope you enjoy them!
