The sixpence Emily put in her shoe that morning was working it’s magic.
Emily and Kendall have the best of luck. Their wedding was at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, DC this spring and the weather was rainy. Well actually, it poured. I was a little nervous when Emily and Kendall had their first look and we heard the rain start pounding . We had 4 off site locations for portraits and I was not certain we were going to make it to all of them. That’s when the magic began… each time we got out of the car, the rain stopped. We dodged rain storms with luck like I have never seen! The light was pretty, Emily was stunning in her gown and hair accent and Kendall was his handsome self. Emily’s veil was two pieces that attached to her hair accent and tied in the back. It was so pretty and light it was always catching the wind. One unexpected moment was at Union Station when we saw a Chinese Dragon. I asked if they would pose for a picture with the happy couple and they agreed. It was a fun lighthearted moment and the passers by really enjoyed it as well.
Here are the many wonderful moments from their day…
