Old Town Alexandria is one of the most charming locations for engagement portraits. The streets are filled with gorgeous homes, hidden gardens and the beautiful waterfront views.
I met Jersenia and Luis Sunday evening for their engagement session and could tell Luis was a little nervous. It is normal to feel nervous before a session, especially if you have not taken professional portraits in a while. The nerves were quickly replaced by laughter as we began walking through the gardens at the Carlyle House. It is so much fun for me to witness the bond between two people and step into their world for a few hours. Being entrusted with these special moments is something I treasure and feel so blessed to capture for them. Jersenia and Luis have such gentle and fun loving spirits.
