Some couples have that special spark that makes you happy just being around them. Lisa + Gregg are certainly one of them. The warmth and love that they have for each other and their families is so genuine and kind. It makes the day all the more special to capture. We went to the Ronald Reagan Building and Andrew Mellon Auditorium for their portraits. They liked the beautiful architecture and wanted an iconic DC feel. Although both are historic buildings, both locations gave their portraits a clean modern feel. Lisa + Gregg’s ceremony and reception were at the Fairmont Hotel in DC. The Fairmont has gorgeous natural light streaming through their Atrium and Colonnade Ballroom. The uniquely designed ballroom has an elevated gazebo-like structure which makes for a beautiful ceremony site and fun dance floor once the party begins. Carrow at the Fairmont does an excellent job taking care of making everything look beautiful and Ellen from Personally Yours Events planned all the details of the day and made everything run smoothly. That is always a challenge when transporting a large wedding party and bride and groom around town before the ceremony. Everything went seamlessly.
