Maggie and Phil chose the beautiful Rosemont Manor estate for their special day. Located in Berryville, VA, Rosemont has gorgeous views, beautiful rooms, a versatile reception space and a giant back porch that makes any rainy day plan a pleasant one. Maggie and Phil’s wedding day was a drippy one, so I was delighted to hear they were still up for photos around the Manor House grounds. We sported umbrellas, Maggie wore her rain boots and we carefully made our way around the property to all of our locations. The pictures are incredible! The light is perfect on rainy days and we were fortunate enough to have one tree on the grounds go all out to pop full fall colors for us!
The theme of the wedding was Starry Night, with silver and blue tones carrying through every part of the day. Their ceremony was so unique. I wish you could have heard their vows. They recited them using the rhyming schemes of Dr Seuss. It was entertaining yet touching. They also painted a heart during the ceremony to symbolize their two hearts coming together as one and gave their first gift of a rose to each other. The reception space was magical! Twinkle lights, uplighting, candles, Japanese lanterns and rich blue linens adorned the room and made everything sparkle. The cake had a delicate vintage topper that was unlike any I have seen. Maggie and Phil wowed their guests as they entered the room and danced a beautifully choreographed first dance. Maggie looked like she had just walked out of an Audrey Hepburn movie. Elegant, classy and styled. This wedding is a must see.
