Family is very important to me. One of my favorite things to do is hang out with my little guy Ben and my husband Michael. We love to go explore new places and you will often find us milling about music festivals, fairs and farms these days. Here we are on a farm out in Bluemont, Virginia on my birthday.
When my son was about 9 months old my husband looked at me and said, “What are we doing on a Friday night? How life has changed for us.” In a good way might I add! We were pushing my son on his Retro Rocket back and forth on the living room floor. Over and over again, I sent him to my husband and he zoomed him back to me from the other side of the room. Benny was laughing so hard I prayed he would continue to hold on!
As Christmas is approaching once more, I am looking forward to seeing my now 1.5 year old tear through some presents. I cannot wait to see his look of surprise when he wakes up Christmas morning to a pile of presents under the tree.
Here he is this morning. These pajamas crack me up! Yes, I am going to be one of those parents that lets my little guy go to the store in his superman costume and rain boots. I just love creative expression in children.
And here he is last Christmas… as everyone always comments, they do grow quickly.
Enjoy the Holidays!
