There’s something so special about photographing a newborn session at home. The space where your baby will grow, the quiet moments with mom and dad, and all the little details that make these early days unforgettable.
This sweet girl was a little older than my typical newborn age for portraits, which meant she stayed awake for most of her session… and honestly, it was such a gift! Her beautiful eyes and that incredible head of hair completely stole the show. Sometimes being awake means we get to capture even more personality and connection.
And of course, big brother wanted a little attention too! While baby sister was feeding, we took the opportunity to do some portraits of him on the bed. Lots of energy, big smiles, and plenty of personality. I love making sure older siblings feel special during these sessions too. I had to laugh… because big brother couldn’t resist a little photo bomb during mom and dad’s portraits. Those sibling moments are always some of my favorites. ❤️
These early days pass by so quickly, and it’s such a joy to meet these little ones and capture the fleeting moments that make this time so special. ✨
The early days with a newborn pass in such a beautiful blur. The tiny stretches, the quiet feedings, the way siblings peek in with curiosity and excitement—these are the moments that become some of the most meaningful memories for families.
Lifestyle newborn sessions allow families to relax in their own space while capturing the authentic connection and love that fills those first weeks.
If you’re expecting a baby and would love relaxed, natural portraits in the comfort of your own home, I would be honored to document this beautiful season for your family.
