From the moment I arrived at their home, it was clear that Kennedy was a sleepy little girl. This tranquility created the perfect atmosphere for a newborn photography session. As a photographer, I couldn’t help but be enchanted by her tiny features and the sense of serenity that enveloped her.
To capture Kennedy’s posed newborn portraits, I began by posing her on a neutral background. The simplicity of this setup allowed her natural beauty to shine through. With great care, I positioned her in delicate poses and accentuated her tiny little body and her delicate features. The soft glow of natural and LED studio lighting further enhanced the calm and ethereal atmosphere, resulting in photographs that will be cherished for generations to come.
In addition to the classic poses, I couldn’t resist placing Kennedy in adorable baskets and other cozy settings, I aimed to create images that evoke the pure innocence and wonder of a newborn.
Family is at the heart of every newborn session, and I always try to capture photos of the entire family as well as their sweet baby. Alan and Laura’s farmhouse and picturesque property in Leesburg provided a charming backdrop for capturing the genuine love and connection between the family members.
