Warm spring breezes arrived just in time to help buds bloom before Richard and Rebecca’s big day. Everything was fresh and alive with new life and color. It was the perfect time of year for a country club wedding at the Country Club of Fairfax. The greens were a brilliant green and freshly planted flowers surrounded the club. The cherry trees were in full bloom and spotted the greens with glorious expanses of pink. One of my favorite portraits of Richard and Rebecca was them lying in the grass under a cherry tree surrounded by pink petals. It looked like it was straight out of a fairytale.
The ceremony and reception had moments of acapella music from their college group and Richard even sang a solo for Rebecca during the reception. What bride wouldn’t melt at just the thought of her groom serenading her? Bouquets were a beautiful spring mix of blooms and the cake was a light lime green with ivory flourishes. So many beautiful touches from Rebecca’s dress, to her hair accent, sparkly shoes that could not go unnoticed! and romantic hairstyles on all of the girls. It was a romantic day from start to finish.
