Jennifer and David chose the picturesque River Creek Club as the backdrop for their intimate wedding.
A few weeks before the wedding, I traveled to River Creek to find the location for the couple’s first look and a few gorgeous spots for Jennifer and David to take their wedding portraits. Patricia, one of the club’s coordinators showed me a hidden gem—a serene wooded area adorned with a charming white gazebo. This would be the perfect backdrop for the couple’s first look.
On the wedding day, Alisha, another one of River Creek’s talented coordinators, skillfully orchestrated the first look. With precision and care, she ensured that Jennifer and David did not catch a glimpse of each other before the anticipated moment. As the couple stood in a peaceful embrace, soft breezes and a gentle serenade of song birds set the stage for an intimate and heartfelt moment.
Taking advantage of the club’s breathtaking views, we ventured to various locations around the golf course and along the Potomac River. A highlight of the day was the floating dock, which allowed me to capture some exquisite photos on the shimmering waters of the Potomac.
Veronica Reilly of White Dress Black Tie Events played a crucial role in ensuring that every detail of Jennifer and David’s wedding at River Creek Club was meticulously planned and executed. From the moment the bride stepped into her gown, Veronica’s expertise shone through as she carefully attended to every finishing touch. Her meticulous attention to detail extended beyond the bride’s preparations to encompass the selection of exquisite decor, scheduling of events, and even the warm welcome extended to guests.
The ceremony took place on the terrace, with a masterfully crafted arbor and flowers by Amoda Decor. The terrace, offered a picturesque view of the rolling greens of the golf course. Fluttering sheer fabric on the arbor danced in the gentle breezes as Jennifer and David exchanged their vows. To the delight of guests, strolling musicians, by Celeste Vee, created an inviting and joyful atmosphere, setting the tone for a memorable celebration.
One of the most delightful and unique moments of the ceremony was when the officiant introduced a playful twist. Jennifer and David decided to leave the decision of their last name to chance. The flip of a coin, determined whether Jennifer would take David’s last name or if David would take hers. It was a lighthearted and fun way to solidify their commitment while adding a touch of whimsy to their union.
As the sun began to set, the evening transformed into a joyful celebration. DJ Chris Goodgion, a master of his craft, created an electric atmosphere that enticed everyone to the dance floor. Laughter filled the air as guests danced and celebrated the occasion. Jennifer’s hair and makeup, by Artist Jamie D’Agostino, remained flawless throughout the portraits around the club and throughout the evenings celebrations. The celebration reached its sweet climax with a delicious gluten-free wedding cake, skillfully crafted by Honey Bee Pastries.
Jennifer and David’s wedding at River Creek Club was nothing short of magical. From the stunning natural beauty to the impeccable service provided by the staff, every element came together flawlessly to create a day filled with love, joy, and cherished memories.
