Sweet Dreams, Sister Giggles & Welcoming Baby Taylor
There is something incredibly special about photographing a family during those first few days after welcoming a new baby home. Life slows down just enough to soak in every tiny yawn, every sleepy stretch, and every cuddle.
Taylor was only five days old when I arrived at her family’s home for her lifestyle newborn session, and she was absolutely perfect.
Mom envisioned a clean, timeless look with soft neutral tones, allowing the focus to remain exactly where it belongs—on her beautiful baby girl. Without elaborate props or busy setups, every image highlights the tiny details that disappear far too quickly: tiny fingers, delicate eyelashes, sleepy smiles, and those precious little toes.
Whoever Said “No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed…”
Whoever came up with that saying clearly never met Taylor’s two amazing big sisters.
One of my favorite moments from the session wasn’t a perfectly posed portrait—it was pure childhood.
The girls climbed onto the bed, laughing, jumping, and completely enjoying being together. Their excitement filled the room, creating genuine moments that simply can’t be staged.
