It was a bittersweet morning for me. I was so excited to meet the Wear family but saddened to know that this would be their last visit to the family farm. I spent some time thinking about their session and knew I wanted to not only capture their family portraits but also family life on the farm and all the details that held their memories for the past 25 years. Some of my favorite photos were of the kids being kids. Running around, playing in the koi pond and digging bugs out of an old log. What life as a child should be all about.
